Drumming for Self-healing Part 1
This 3-wk journey introduces participants to the art of frame drumming as a tool for self-healing. Designed for complete beginners, this course requires no prior musical experience or a personal drum. In each session, we will explore fundamental playing techniques, rhythmic patterns, and the healing power of drumming.
By the end of Part 1, participants will have a strong foundation in frame drumming and experience its potential to calm the mind, and support personal well-being.
Week 1: The Basics - This session sets the stage for your drum healing practice.
Week 2: Drum Healing in 4/4 - This session introduces science-based drumming exercises that can help induce relaxation, deepen meditation, and support inner healing.
Week 3: Drum Healing in 5/8 - This session introduces science-based drumming exercises that can facilitate deep introspection and enhance intuition.
Course starts from 29 March and run until 12 April, from 3:30 - 5:00 pm (90 mins per session).

Mind, Body, and Beyond: A Comprehensive Meditation Journey
This foundational mindfulness course led by our founder, Maddy Bandera, explores how cultivating present moment awareness can reduce stress, improve focus, and build resilience. Students will learn mindfulness principles, develop their own practice, and apply these skills to daily life, enhancing mind-body awareness. The course draws on Western neuroscience and psychology, as well as ancient wisdom traditions, and examines the growing body of research demonstrating mindfulness's positive impact on physical and mental well-being.

Upon completion, students will be able to

Drumming for Self-healing Part 2
Building on Part 1, this six-week course explores drumming for self-healing in greater depth. Participants will use their own frame drums to learn complex rhythms, exploring how drumming can balance chakras, shift neurological states, and refine energy.
Beyond technical skills, they'll learn advanced rhythmic notation. Through practice, students will understand how specific rhythms support self-healing, from grounding and emotional release to heightened awareness, fully utilising drumming's potential.
Course starts from 26 April and run until 31 March 2025, from 3:30 - 5:00 pm (90 mins per session).

Course fee inclusive of 1 frame drum for participants to bring home (size: 12 or 14 inches). Participants may pick up their frame drums from Concentric Studio in Singapore or opt for delivery (delivery fees to be shouldered by participants).
