Mind, Body, and Beyond: A Comprehensive Meditation Journey


This foundational mindfulness course led by our founder, Maddy Bandera, explores how cultivating present moment awareness can reduce stress, improve focus, and build resilience. Students will learn mindfulness principles, develop their own practice, and apply these skills to daily life, enhancing mind-body awareness. The course draws on Western neuroscience and psychology, as well as ancient wisdom traditions, and examines the growing body of research demonstrating mindfulness's positive impact on physical and mental well-being.

    • Week 1 (Apr 20): Foundations of Meditation & the Nervous System (Science of Stress Reduction)

    • Week 2 (Apr 26): Brainwaves and Focused Attention (Neuroplasticity & Cognitive Function)

    • Week 3 (May 3): Somatic Awareness and Energy Centers (Chakras): Interoception & Vagus Nerve (Somatic Regulation)

    • Week 4 (May 17): Emotional Regulation - Heart-Mind Coherence & Metta Meditation (Affective Neuroscience)

    • Week 5 (May 24): Visualisation & Guided Imagery: Harnessing the Power of the Mind for Energy Alignment

    • Week 6 (May 31): Advanced Techniques & Personal Practice Integration (Long term benefits & sustainability)

  • Upon completion, students will be able to

    • Explore the mind-body connection to cultivate Presence, Inner Harmony, Neuroplasticity, and Energy Awareness

    • Integrate mindfulness theory, practice, and research;

    • Establish a sustainable personal meditation practice; and

    • Receive a Certificate of Completion for 10 hrs course

Course starts starts on 20 Apr & runs until 31 May 2025.

  • Duration for 20 Apr & 24 May is 2 hrs, rest of the sessions are for 1.5 hrs.
