Steady Within Course: Rhythmic Self-Healing with Rav Moon

  • Concentric Circles of Healing Pte. Ltd. 23 Kampong Bahru Road, Blair House #03-03 169349 Singapore (map)

Steady Within is an intimate group guided rhythm & sound practice, offering gentle ways to soften the weight of busy seasons and return to steadiness — without needing music background, a large instrument, or a performer mindset.

Across this 2-day course, you will be guided to build a personal rhythmic healing practice. The focus is not musical performance or “doing it right.” It is a soft, structured space to let sound and rhythm give your attention somewhere to rest, notice what your body needs, and find your way back to a steadier inner pace.

    1. Grounding — connection with the instrument & finding a simple rhythm of return.

    2. Pulsing — building inner continuity without forcing.

    3. Flowing — letting sound move through with more ease.

    4. Integrating — shaping your personal practice.

This course is intentionally kept in an intimate small group size. Each module includes guided practice, time for exploration, and support for individual adjustment to your pace and comfort.

You’ll also receive a simple practice guide after each session, so you have a clear reference for home practice between classes. The practice guide will include a series of carefully curated practice prompts for your inner exploration.

This course uses the Rav Moon, a high-quality steel tongue drum with long drone and soothing resonance. It is easy to play, portable, and intuitive enough for beginners to explore. Instruments will be provided for the duration of the course and you will have the chance to try a variety of Rav scales too.

No prior musical experience is necessary – just an open mind and a willingness to explore the transformative potential of a rhythmic based meditative practice for self-healing.

  • Linda Zhong is an integrative sound practitioner and Malte Marten Methods Certified Handpan Teacher. She supports adults who carry a lot in daily life and want to build more inner capacity, steadiness, and connection with themselves. Her work brings together structured sound, rhythm, and deep listening in a grounded and heartfelt way.

Her teaching is rooted in the idea of playing from the heart, not from the score. With over a decade of teaching, arranging, and conducting experience, Linda has become especially interested in helping people move beyond the pressure to “play correctly.” Her approach invites students to meet rhythm and sound through touch, listening, simple patterns, and gentle improvisation — so they can begin feeling connected to the instrument from the very first session. Informed by sound healing, neuroscience-based rhythm practices, and her training in the Malte Marten Method, she offers a grounded, supportive way to play from within.

  • Do I need any music background
No. This is designed for beginners and non-musicians. Rhythm and sound are used as supports for self-healing, not as a test of musical ability.

Do I need to own a Rav Moon?
No. Rav Moon access during the course is included, so you do not need to own an instrument before joining. Instrument rental or purchase is entirely optional and can be discussed without pressure.

Is this a Rav Moon / handpan class?
Rav Moon is the instrument we’ll use, but this is not a technique-heavy or performance-focused class. The deeper focus is guided rhythm & sound practice for our self-healing and returning to steadiness.

    Is this sound healing?
This is an active rhythmic healing practice. Instead of only receiving sound, you are invited to participate gently — exploring sound and rhythm as supports for steadiness, body awareness, and returning to yourself.

What if I am worried I have no rhythm?
That is welcome here. The course does not assume confidence with rhythm. We work slowly, with simple patterns and enough repetition for the body to feel its way in.
