Despite all our progress, we still live from one breath to the next. Many of us stay stressed, sleep poorly, and struggle to switch off, and we try to relax by adding even more. In this webinar, Anders Olsson, founder of the Conscious Breathing Institute and featured in James Nestor's Breath, shows how calm comes through calm.
You will learn why CO₂, long dismissed as a waste gas, plays a key role in calming the body. You will try a simple breathing test and an exercise you can use right away, and hear how CO₂ therapy works.
Hosted by Tatjana Strobel and Madeleine Bandera. Registration is free, and the recording goes to everyone who signs up.
Let’s breathe.

Anders Olsson is a Swedish breathing expert, author, and founder of the Conscious Breathing Institute, known internationally for his work on breathing physiology and the role of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in health, performance, and aging.
Curiosity about how breathing shapes the body and mind has driven his work for more than 17 years, focused on how modern breathing patterns and low CO₂ tolerance affect the nervous system, circulation, sleep, and oxygen delivery, the core mechanisms behind brain health, gut health, and long-term resilience. He is the author of the bestselling Conscious Breathing and the co-inventor of several breathing and CO₂ therapy tools now used in wellness and performance settings worldwide. His work is featured in James Nestor's Breath, following a breathing study at Stanford University.
Olsson has trained more than 1,500 instructors worldwide and works with clinicians, researchers, and elite athletes. His new book, The Master Regulator: The Carbon Dioxide Theory of Health, Performance, and Longevity, out in Q1 2027, reframes CO₂, long dismissed as a metabolic waste product, as a master regulator of human physiology.
As a speaker, he leaves audiences with a working understanding of breathing and CO₂ physiology, built around a simple observation: despite technological and medical progress at a pace unmatched in human history, we still live from one breath to the next.
